With this element of competition in the wings, brides are looking to less traditional themes to make their weddings stand out from the crowd. In doing so, brides have found that with a little creativity their wedding ceremony and reception can be as unique and fabulous as the bride and groom themselves!

Once the theme is chosen, brides can make each and every facet of the ceremony and reception exclusively theirs. This is where the personalities of the bride and groom really come into play. If the couple both love Elvis, why not have an exceptional Elvis themed wedding complete with Elvis impersonators? Or, explore your hobbies. Do you both have a passion for art? How about a spectacular Artists of the World themed wedding, with each table showcasing its own fabulous artist? Or, if there are a lot of artists that you admire – how about a famous painter or sculptor per person at each table? 

While these themes may not exactly fit your particular tastes as a couple, they are fuel for your fire when it comes to planning a one of a kind event. Couples need to look outside the box and into their hearts to find the theme that best fits them. Once that theme is found, every little detail can be catered to their personalities – such as pirate fanatics being married on the gang plank and adventure seekers being married upon landing from a group dive through the sky.
